Platinum-Plus Publishing: $999 offers the most options and services available, including your choice of 12 book cover design templates, a free e-book edition and press release and 10 complimentary copies of your title. All Platinum-Plus books include professional interior layout, an ISBN number, an EAN barcode, and distribution via Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, etc.*

Platinum Publishing: $899 includes a free e-book edition, news press release and 6 complimentary copies of your title. All Platinum books include professional interior layout, an ISBN number, an EAN barcode, and distribution via Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, etc.*

Gold Publishing: $699 is the recommended choice for authors who want the most flexibility and control over their options All Gold packages include professional interior layout (with headers), an ISBN number, an EAN barcode, and distribution via Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, etc.*

Silver Publishing: $499 if you are an author whose book is already in print but need help with distribution, this package is for you. The Silver packages include an ISBN number, an EAN barcode, and distribution via Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, etc.*

BronzePublishing: $299 offers the most economic way to publish your book without distribution. It is the optimum choice for authors who wish to handle the marketing and distribution of their own titles.*

Note:

Author’s who select the Bronze Publishing package can upgrade to Silver, Gold or Platinum at any time during the publishing process. Author’s who select the Platinum Plus packages will recieve 10 complimentary copies of their novel.

Submission Guidlines

There is a $75 submission fee required for Maine Stream Publishing to review your manuscript. Simply click on the contact us link and send the first two chapters and a brief sysnopsis for us to review. Within seven business days someone will contact you in terms of your acceptance and additional information needed to get the publishing process underway. Please click the button to the left to pay your manuscript submission fee.

Marketing and Distribution

The benefits of publishing with Maine Stream Publishing becomes evident when you see first hand the ease and flexibility of wholesale distribution through sales channels like Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com, and more. The extent of the sales channels available depends upon the publishing package you choose. With every package except the Bronze option, your book will automatically be available through I-Page, the book ordering system available at over 25,000 bookstores and retail chains.It will automatically be listed online with Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other e-retailers for distribution.

Set your own Royalties

The author’s trade discount determines distribution. Author’s can set it from 20% – 55%. The higher the trade discount, the more distribution opportunities become available. This will also determine how much you (the author) will receive in terms of royalties. Platinum and Gold author’s will be able to track monthly sales online and will be paid on a quarterly basis. Be advised that Wholesalers and retailers are not obligated to take all books and their decision depends in part on the trade discount you set. Higher is better!

Manuscript Review and Book Editing Services

Writing a book and editing a book are two entirely different tasks. Some authors excel at both. Some authors don’t. For those who desire the most professional product available, Mainstream Publishing offers basic editing services for just 2 cents/word.

If you want a custom cover, notify your Author Representative during the initial phaseof your publication process.
